Meetings are held in accordance with an agreed pattern. You can find out the dates of future meetings on this website. Meetings are open to the general public and the press. To explain, this does not mean that they can join in the Council's discussions but there is time put aside at the beginning of each meeting for individuals to speak to the Council.
Formal notice of a meeting must be published at least 3 clear days before it is held. To ensure residents are aware of the business to be discussed we place copies in the Shop and Post Office in Cockshutt, on the notice board in Petton on this website under the date of the meeting.
Minutes become a legal record of the meeting once they have been been signed by the Chair at the following meeting. Copies are available under the date of the meeting
