Meole Brace Gardening & Allotments Club

Meole Brace Allotments Club manages 3 sites in Meole, on the south side of Shrewsbury.  The club looks after nearly 7 acres of land which is spread over the Stanley Lane, Washford Road and Vicarage Road sites.  There are 91 full plots in total, though many are let as half plots to be more managable. 

Valducci Brugmansias

Meole gardening club also hosts a national collection of Brugmansias (angels trumpets).  This beautiful delicate flower is native to South America but thrives on Meole allotments.  The collection is one of 11 National Plant Collections in Shrewsbury and is renowned as the most extensive collection of Brugmansias in the whole of Europe.
